Come Drink and Be Refreshed
“Have you been experiencing some hard-pressed toiling due to some unpleasant circumstances in your life and family? Have you felt that there is no end to what you have been dealing with? Has it appeared hopeless of ever being changed? Has it affected you to the point that it has caused you to become weary? Have you been experiencing being tired, exhausted, fatigued, and even to the point of becoming faint-hearted because of it all? If so, this word is for you. You are on the heart of your Heavenly Father. His eyes are always upon you. It is hard to understand, why good people go through tough things. Sometimes, Life in general brings things our way that we are not ready to face and walk through. If you would have had the opportunity to choose the path you are walking right now, it would not have been that which you are experiencing. It is easy to become frustrated when you have been going thru a rough and tough times without seeing any change for a long period of time. It is important to guard your heart and mind, because it is during these times you are bombarded with all kinds of questions in the mind. Such as: ‘why God’…‘why me’…‘why my family’? Why did this happen to me? What did I do to deserve this? Could something have been done to avoid what is happening? There is such an intense battle that rages in your thoughts. There are times, you can have questions that seem to go unanswered. You find during this time, your emotions get affected because of the intense battle of questions with no answer of quick change. Then you are tempted to believe that no one cares. ‘God doesn’t care; neither do people care!’ Of course, that is what satan wants you to think and believe! Because if he can convince you of that lie, then it is an open door for you to believe other lies he comes to you with. With all that I have said, I want to encourage you to SHIFT your eyes off your circumstances and let this word speak right into your heart and mind. What is important to know is that you are God’s beloved. He cares much for you. He sent Jesus Christ His son to provide the Way (by being the Way, Truth and Life) for you to have complete Victory in every area of your life. He sympathizes with you. He is touched with the very feeling of your infirmities. He has been tempted in all points you are being tempted with. He understands. He has compassion toward you. Jesus conquered all things, so you could live as “More Than A Conqueror”! He has promised that He will never forsake you. He has not left you helpless and without hope of change. He is your present help in the time of trouble (need). He has given you the Holy Spirit, who is your comforter and strengthener. He has the wisdom that you need for every situation. He lights your path bright, so that you can see clearly what steps you need to take for everything you face. Don’t lose faith in your God! Believing and Trusting Him is one of the most challenging aspect of life especially when circumstances are very tough to handle. It is easy to fall into the trap of leaning to your own understanding due to having to deal with the same things over and over. It is important to keep a heart of gratitude toward the Lord. Be thankful you are still standing, even though the way may have been rough and tough. A heart of gratitude expresses your trust in God. I encourage you grab ahold of “hope” once again. It is an anchor to your faith in God. Persevere with patience. Press on against all odds and feed on the Word of God. It is life to you! The Lord is calling you, “Come you who are weary and weak; come to Me the Fountain of Living Water. Drink and be refreshed! I have REST for your spirit, soul and body! Come! Come!”

Even youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, but those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him], will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired.”
